Captain Gary is a handsome and very smart Pelican who sails Doctor Wooff’s yacht from harbor to harbor, making house calls to fellow yachtsmen’s pets. A wealthy pet lover from Florida donated the yacht to Doctor Wooff.

Doctor Wooff also uses his yacht to study and treat marine wildlife. He and Captain Gary have sailed the world together. They sing songs along the way while Captain Gary plays the accordion.

Captain Gary is in heaven when it comes to gourmet fish - sticks. He tells everybody that his ancestors invented them.
